So the planning process has started! I am so excited to get going on my design ideas and developing themes that I could potentially have on the wedding day.
First thing is first…speak to Josh (Fiancé) about what he is expecting from the wedding. I know what I would love is for it to be black tie in a modern styled venue that can be decorated with draping and beautiful lighting.
I have already started to put together a list of venues that I am interested in looking at that fits our budget as well as amount of people we want to invite.
I know we are looking to have between 170-200 guests, being that Josh has a larger side of the family it is important that we have a venue that can cater to this size, we also have Jewish family so certainly needs to cater to Kosher.
So to begin I have already started to put together various Pinterest Boards for separate entities within the wedding.

Wedding Look
Dresses – Bride & Bridesmaids
Cake

This has become rather dangerous as I know that I will begin to pin pictures I love but is not within my budget therefore I must keep myself from pinning photos that are unrealistic to my day. If I do, I will only pin a picture if there is something specific I like such as lighting colour or particular flower.
Next on my list is to write down absolutely every detail that is involved and what I need to consider! Ladies, this is just me being a little wedding planner cray cray! It is always good to know what you should think about as the last thing you want is to find things you NEED and not have the budget to cover.
So….What is truly involved in planning a big wedding? Throughout my Diary I will be going through every detail you need to consider when planning your wedding. Not only will this but you get to know some of the best suppliers in London!
Through the planning process I will a bride-to-be client and will be discussing what to look for in each supplier, what to ask and what to think about before your meetings.
