LADY OF THE LAKE - RHS CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW
Every summer London holds one of the most extraodnary shows; The RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Opening its doors this morning, we were desperate to blog about something for the show, and low and behold, here at the Deluxe Wedding Blog we have been given an incredible floral shoot to show off from Kate Nielen Photography!
This shoot is not of any ordinary floral arrangements, but in fact is of a one off luxury dress design incoporating seasonal and sensational flowers. Comissioned by M&G Investments, they are celebrating their sixth consecutive year as the Flower Shows titled sponsors so they wanted to design something incredibly special to show off one of Britains top florists.
This stunning dress has been designed by Britains premier luxury floral designer Larry Walshe. Spending over 200 hours creating this masterpeice with over 1,200 flowers, Larry Walshe opted for this seasons top colour palette; pink, purple and blues by using real Delphiniums, Hyacinths, Spray Roses and Limonium.
The dress was crafted from fine, soft grew volle and silk, put together by skilled artisans. The dress is designed to show off the organic silhouette of a Lady while mimicing the motions of water, its fluidity and calmness that makes "The Lady of the Lake". Sophisticated, elegant and smooth.
Larry Walshe's design is just breath-taking and incredibly beautiful beyond words!
