This month I have something utterly magical, graceful and yet mysterious to show you, the brand new collection of Ralph & Russo.

Their unbelievable gowns have been gracefully designed, each with a unique personality and incredible beauty and depth to them.

Ralph & Russo describe their new collection as

'a renewed interpretation of romantic sensibility is unleashed for Autumn Winter 2015/2016, manifesting in sensual femininity and sexy sophistication.'

Tantalising my fashionista taste buds I noticed that this divine collection offers a mixture of seasons to their enchanting gowns. From whimsical forest colours of green for the spring, heavenly blush pinks representing summer to regal gold’s for autumn and royal blues for a glorious winter.

The sophistication of these creations can be seen through the use of some of the most luxurious materials, their intricate details all hand made; as Ralph and Russo express:

'silk and metallic threadwork and ornate micro-beaded floral reliefs unearthed in Lesage’s archives of the 1960s - are meticulously matched to geometrical perfection in flawless tailoring. Lustful Guipure is enhanced with cut-outs of its own and pompon tassels are made of mink. Even brocades are bejewelled. Delicate as Limoges porcelain, floral silk needlework curls extravagantly into a maze across the body, appliquéd with feather petals - cut, coiled and braided.'

The incredible story behind this years inspiration was told as a timeless and mysterious fairy tail that would have you spellbound. This magic and wizardry can be noted in the subtle shimmers of the gowns.

Not only can this mystical aura be seen in these spectacular creations but also within the shoes that complete the captivating appearance. For one of these dresses, one must wear the right heel in order to bring its magic to life, and complete the transformation of a girl to a woman of power.

This is the story that Ralph & Russo give us that inspired them to design such a grand collection.

'On the eve of her coronation, a young Tsarina sheds off her priceless tiara and flicks lose her hair. To the audible gasp of the court’s noblemen, she storms out to search haunting forests for her Rasputin. The splendour of her ceremonial robes is the finest coup d'oeil ever seen.

The silhouettes belong to a woman resolutely assertive. Armour-like tailleurs are encrusted with crystal and pearl mosaics, and dense ogival motifs adorn structured jackets wherefrom grand ovate forms shell out dramatically in the essence of a Fabergé egg. Optical and graphic, the workmanship is a sublime blend of tradition and modernity. Though the overall three-dimensional apparition is unequalled, the immense detail is to be awed at up-close.'
